Since I'm not an expert, I was not aware PN jacket were equipped with Riri brass Zipper.

And even if people are willing to pay too much for what things are worth, that doesn't stop me from thinking it's too much.

@Pilot , I agree that quality comes at a price.
But this price is numbered. Price of raw materials, price of clothing by experienced craftsmen, R&D etc ...
I'm not talking about comparing FiveStar to Good Wear.

But for example, what could justifies this difference?

Justify the difference?
In most of the eyes... Nothing!
In some eyes... the brand, luxury, glamour, prestige...(applies to all glamour prestige luxury brands...),
Again, Chapal sells... and very well!..
Ask a Chapal buyer...he surely will give 100 reasons... Agree ...you will not find it here...nor any answer here for sure.

Chapal is a brand for Parisian `` Jet Set '' which boasts of having made jackets for allied aviators during the war ...bullshit to make believe in an authentic brand

Look at this Chapal B-3 and ‘‘ Irvin ’’ on Victor and Paul Belmondo ... a glamorous and luxurious brand whose French ‘stars’ make great publicity ...

I bought their first B-3 in 1995, 6 months waiting ... I paid 4000 fr for it at the time. (700 euros) , when i received it the reinforcements skin was medium grade goatskin and the belts crap ... a shoemaker friend who collected militaria told me it was Moroccan quality ...I was lucky I traded it for a monkey motorbike , and I was a winner in the exchange . At that time I had two jackets: an A-2 Sefton HH ( a good jacket ) and this shit B-3
