Good Wear Recreation of my Grandfather's Jacket

My wife and I are moving to Ireland Thursday and I wanted to finally get a proper version of my Grandfather's A-2 before we moved. And boy, did John Chapman come through. Here it is. Good Wear Dubow 20960. Size 44 body with size 42 arms. Can't believe how soft the Italian horsehide is. I had the replica patch made years ago and MASH Japan did the name strip.

Well partner .... you’ve been on this forum since 2008, and this is only your 5th post .....
But damn you do know how to make an entrance !;)
Sweet jacket and even better that it’s a tribute jacket to your grandfather.
Don’t be a stranger start to post a little more :)
Good Luck with the move to Ireland .

Steve is one of the original members of the Dead Horse Society. Always good to hear from one of the old guard. Safe travels my friend.
Thanks, Grant. I was Virgil Hilts on the old forum, had a billion posts. Sold off my collection of 30 or so jackets over a decade ago but still always keep an eye on eBay and this forum. Besides the Good Wear I've got a Monarch 7823 and that's it. Even sold off my nylon jackets. Glad to see you guys are keeping it going! Not much to report from Ireland yet- we're a little over halfway through our two-week quarantine. We take the pups for a walk twice a day in the little town we're Airbnb'ing at here in County Donegal. Next weekend we'll finally be able to get out and about proper. We have seen a rainbow almost every single day so far, so there's that. I'll be sure to report more once we're out and about.

Now now, we'll be just fine. However Guinness in Ireland is head and shoulders above anywhere else in the world. So I'm told. Love the people, food, and country side. Pulling your leg here a bit Couchy.
Regards,
Guinness.... all you had to say! ;)
