Nice jacket, but for that sort of money I’d expect the seller to be bothered to take some decent photographs. Who looks at a completely blurred and out of focus photo and thinks “yep, that will do” a £500 auction listing.....

Yes it is poorly listed. The seller is helpfull and answers questions he has posted more photos.
Looks like a very good example and a bargain.

sloppy measuring, imo. it looks to me like the jacket is a generous size 42, bordering on a 44. that is if the jacket was laid FLAT and measured correctly. what's so hard or time consuming about the simple task of measuring a jacket? as the zombies would have it, "brainzzzz"

Badly described items are a great find for people who know what they are looking at.
This is a very nice item and a very good price !

Why are you so critical of other people’s items ?
Do you even have an interest in buying the Jacket ?
If so you can ask for more photos if that’s what floats your boat !

Charming !
Why do you want millimetre accuracy ?
It’s a jacket FFS

I love listings like this where good judgement can land a bargain.
Give me blurred photos poor measurements and a bad description to make the pack wary. We all know how a standard jacket should fit.
Just make sure to ask if it is a standard jacket with no damage.

John,

This jacket isn't close to big enough to fit me, but just out of interest, is there a way to repair the defects caused by this flaking seen on some of the Eastman jackets?

You can't it is part of the character and why ELC parted company with Fenland. The flakey ones are the really early ones and the best skins by miles no one has ever equalled them.

Touched a nerve? I’ve no interest in the jacket what so ever, but suppose if I was hoping to shift it for £500 I’d take better pictures. I guess I’m not alone in my view either as it remains unsold having been up for a week or so. Anyway, no concern to me, good luck to the seller.

Yeah, I was a little surprised when reading this thread. Two angry posts in a row from JE. I wonder if he’s the seller.

I almost sent in an offer this morning, but my internet connection on my phone ceased right then so I took it as a sign to run. No way I'd wear this in my climate...but so tempting.
