What jacket(s) are you wearing at the moment?

I'll also add that, after comparing our photos, I think the seal and russet aren't THAT far apart color-wise. If it's in the shade, my russet can look like seal. The Liberty russet is a medium-dark russet, and the seal is a light, chocolatey seal.

Yes, I'd agree with those descriptions. Thats why I like BK's russet. But I would say that they are quiet different in colour.
I still have samples from late last year, russet, seal and dark seal (Apparently there's a new dark seal).

Yeah, they may have seemed closer to me because I was surprised by how light the seal was: the only seal I had to compare it to was their badalassi seal, which is much darker.

Yeah, been reading up and looking into 23rd FG for ages. I have a lot of pics. Period pics are almost all b/w, with a few colour. Also pics of original 23rd FG and CBI jackets.
My Art of the flight jacket is stored away, so I no longer have that reference, but clearly both seal and russet were worn. I would hazard to say that more were russet than were seal.
Really, both would be authentic.

I dare you to put that on! Its melting out there lol

You must be insane...

Tried it on without a T shirt in 34* and felt like a monk with a horsehair undershirt. They really put a lot of thought into the available materials of 1942 to make something really practical, durable and warm with the minimum of fuss. Bronson in my opinion have nailed it as far as quality and detail go. However I have never had a Tanker Type 2 jacket to compare against, just my opinion of the overall construction...
