I think the best will be, you calculate the dimensions of the jacket based on your body measurements and the material thickness. I made an Excel for it.

Even with the thin hides, I know my regular size won't work. I'd think that I'd have to add an inch nominally to the pits number, making it 27.5-ish.
I don't zip up jackets much, so it could be on the narrower side, but something is off here and I need to get it figgered before ordering

So,

Daughter was rooting through my jackets last night, she loved my Eastman Irvin BOB, the B3 made her look like an Ewok. There was no way she was getting an Eastman B15 but my D1 looked good on her.
I know that I wasn't going to order anything but her 18th is coming up so we ordered one of Shawns finest this morning in teeny tiny petite sizing suitable for her weasel like frame. Looking forward to seeing some photos.

Ok boys here it comes !! First off the quality is great .. period ! 2 problems that need to be fixed Shawn ..... 1st you have to make the sleeves bigger ,, blousier just to tight around the arms . I think it will be OK if the shearling flattens . And for #2 please move the throat strap out farther so it can be used ! Don’t feel bad Eastmans can’t be used either and I’ve own 2 of their D-1s .Other than that l’m 5’10” 220 and the body fits great . Nice body length too . Just those 2 items Shawn great jackets !! Well worth the money !!!!!!

I have to say that from the photos those arms look perfect for the jacket size . Stay out of the gym for a while and let those big guns shrink down a bit

No gym stuff for many years here guys !! No the sleeves NEED to be bigger just to tight. Mine will be wearable but I wouldn't buy one unless this is addressed people will just be unhappy. It will be a long sleeve T-shirt period. Dam nice product !! Oh and please move the throat strap too.. no use having it if it can't be used.

Just have one more item Shawn please use a #5 zipper as you probably do on your A-2s in place of the bigger #8.I was hoping to swap out the zipper pulls with WW2 Talon pulls but with the bigger main chest zipper I can not do that. I think that's the way to go.

McCoys get it just right. This was an engineers jacket so difficult to keep clean

The nap(wool) could be just a tad shorter but it is really light weight. But if Shawn tweeks it in the items I posted for the price point it is well worth it .
