After seeing Grants’ awesome vintage money clip, which no matter how long I looked I will never find anything like it, I found an inexpensive repro of a WWII USAAF one on EBay. I received it today and for $13.00 it’s ok. No telling how it will look 6 months from now but if anyone is interested , here ya go , have a look. Cheers Guys

All good. Did a 'money clip' search, then a 'sweetheart aaf' search... Couple of good items popped up but nothing leapt out aside from that USMC one for $45. Was very basic for that amount of money, and was not attributable to anything specific.

Grant's one is truly unique.

It is unique... probably a one and done item made by a serviceman with some free time on his hands and some basic metal craft skills.
