Yep ... you’ve got yourself the beginnings of your own personal air museum going on !!
Good job finding all of those artifacts .
Nicely done !!

Need more space in my War Room. Floor is clear NOW.. Day one was a shambles. Still have two eBay parcels AWOL since Tianna showed them to me months ago. :(

Then there is the Townsville 'Annex' with the mannequins. And the Shelby 'Annex' (Shelby's War-Drobe) with the flight suits..

My latest acquisition is a complete WWII Japanese cavalry saddle complete with saddle bags, stirrups and spurs. The guy that brought it back after the war has a lot more Japanese items he brought back including a NCO katana, cavalry sword, bayonet, helmet and lots of other items that I'm going to see later this week.

I’m right there with you Peter M.
I also find myself buying 2 of the same thing just in case I lose one or the first one goes
“ Tango Uniform” ( US military phonetic alphabet for certain expression) ;)

Save one for 'good'. A quirky saying I have about grabbing a spare or three of the same thing. Like ATF Ike Jackets. Have three still in the bag and four patched up with WWII - Korean War insignia. 1st Airborne Ranger Company Ike is a work of art. Matched the 'dude' with an identical patched ATF M-43 uniform.

How awesome, I have been moving things around my house so that I can pull things out of storage to have my own war room. I met a die hard collector of aviation (WW2) He bought over the years many cockpit parts to build a replica P-51 cockpit sitting in his man cave. He had the wind screen too. What was even better was that he set up his gaming computer to play WW2 dog fights etc. Surrounding the cockpit with large plasma screens in HDTV. You sit in the cockpit with all your gear on then started playing the BOB. The total feeling was 4D. But it cost a boatload of money to put it all together......but it was to dream for X TEN! The last time I saw him he was trying to find a gimble so that he could make it move a little bit or feel buffeting. I sure wish I could do something like that!

I have a question....How do I get notices sent to me about any comments you guys have posted so that I can keep up with the postings. I do not get any notices of all the goings on. I will be back, have to take my daughter on a grub run.

Let me get this right: he dresses up as a WW2 pilot to play video games ..?

Interesting ...... even the F-15 pilots on my base don’t wear survival vests, G-suits and harness to use their sims for training.

I suppose it’s no different to airsofters dressing like Delta Force operatives. Take that however you like !
