That is a very kind offer Shawn, but I can't take advantage of you like that ! My back money should be through next month so I should have a little "mad money". If you do see some nice pebbly grainy seal brown goat you could stick it to one side for me. :)
Yes for sure

I think these jackets are great. And they look better in members' fit pics when worn! Kind of tempting with all of the color combo options presented. The amount of graciousness in this thread is really a nice thing to see.
Many of them were already posted by some members in different threads

So, folks, I received my jacket today. I’m really amazed at the craftsmanship, quality of the leather and the fur! It’s a BEAUTIFUL jacket, and Shawn did a perfect job of getting the right length for my body and chimpanzee arms!

My only concern is about the general fit. It’s trim, but doesn’t feel restrictive at all. But I realized the action back seems opened, even with my arms relaxed. Should I plan on sizing up, or will the leather and waist cuff relax a bit with wear?

Here’s a couple dirty bathroom pics to illustrate the issue.

It would be easier to judge the back and size if you can get someone to take the pics for you?
I personally think the next size up may be better.
As for the gaping back that can be caused by the elastic straps being in the wrong place, or the back not being correctly cut.

I think a size bigger would be way too wide in the shoulder, though.

Shawn also suggested that the leather may indeed relax and drape more, reducing this. Actually, I think he may be onto something, the leather is nice and heavy, making it quite stiff.

Shoulders look WAY too big to me, seam is 2" down the arm,not typical of the genre at all.
We were working with very large original WW2 patterns today and it was suprising how much higher the shoulder seam of the M422a sat in comparison with period A-2s of the same age

Size 42 According to our size Chart

Chest 45.3 inches
Hem 30.8 inches

Sleeve Length Actual 25.6 Inches (Custom Required 28 Inches)
Back Length Actual 25.8 Inches (Custom Required 27 Inches)
Collar (Custom Measurements) Width 8 cm
That was already a

So I am bound to follow my customers dimensions, as I make Garments on Made to measure basis. Based on Mr. Cocker Physics I personally make a one size bigger for them, My patterns are 100% copied from Original WWII jacket and represents the true pattern details unless some customer personally recommend any change for his personal custom jacket. It is the fact I am selling to 100's of customers and every customer have a different size problems at some specific body parts, that why I mostly provide my customers custom sizes at very affordable price's.

Please find below the detailed size images of the Jacket which I dispatched, If Mr. Cocker informed me the exact possible Chest Body measurements than the outcome may be not like this,

However my personal recommendations on that, Mr. Cocker need a custom Fitting on Shoulders, and Chest, rest of the measurements seems to be perfect.

Any further suggestions are highly appreciated.

Best Regards

Shawn
