Peter Hook's leather jacket!

Believe it’s a Mascot. Read all of his books last year, it gets mentioned and photographed. The Joy Division/New Order/Factory story is a hell of a tale. Loved Joy Division, liked New Order in the early days, but Barney Sumner/Bernard Albrecht couldn’t sing to save his life. I know it’s not the be-all and end-all, but I struggle to listen to them these days.

At the risky of upsetting the purists I much prefer this version of Blue Monday
More on topic, we obviously sold Dave Vanian's old Aero too cheaply!!!!

I was the opposite, but then I only saw JD the one time, whereas I saw New Order many times and really connected to them (and other Factory bands), though they were always erratic and could be brilliant one night and not-so-great the next. Not sure what has prompted Hooky to put all his JD memorabilia up for auction.

I loved both Joy Division and New Order back in the day so that's a big flashback for me. Hooky and Simon Gallup from that era were always the coolest bass players who always played their basses slung low.

I'm pretty sure Gallup had an identical leather jacket to Hooky!
