Anyone know about these Repros? Good? Bad? Real Fur liner and collar or fake. Do they run small? Looks pretty good. I see it says US Army Air Force not Forces. Other than that the tag looks ok.

Dragging this thread up from the past.... I ran across a couple of the Spiewak B-10's on e-Bay, Google searches, etc.. I would really like to hear from someone who owns one regarding construction / quality / fit. To my eyes, they look pretty damn good. ;) Here's some pics I've collected of a couple:

I have one however it’s a B-15. The jacket is fairly well made and the fabric is closely woven and durable. How much are they asking for it?

I collected those pics over time, and didn't see what they sold for. I think the patched one was on another forum somewhere, and just being shown IIRC. I'm curious if Spiewak went 'whole hog', and used an alpaca or wool / poly blend for the lining. They're made in the USA, and do appear to be constructed well. I've seen the Spiewak "limited edition" B-15 A's go for over $200.00 used. I think the shell was made from an 'EndZone' type cotton / nylon blend, and also made in the USA.

After browsing Buyee for awhile, I've come to the conclusion that more U.S.A.-made Spiewak B-10's are in Japan than the States... I've run across 3 at auction there so far, without even seeing one actually pop-up on eBay. Here is a really nice one with a great collar shape IMO, and listed as having a genuine alpaca lining. Available for a buy-it-now of $296.64 USD + fees and shipping. I estimate around $350.00 all said and done. If I didn't already have a few nice B-10's, this would be mine for certain.

EDIT: I just picked-up a nice Buzz L.S.L. Garment Co. B-10 for around $250.00 shipped, and the Spiewak's price is high in comparison but as I posted, I have yet to see one available on eBay. It's not an original contract repro (Ideal zipper, some details incorrect, etc.), but as rare as these seem to be, U.S.A.-made, alpaca lining, and the condition, I personally find the price fair.. The others I've seen have 'blah' collars, and in very used condition for around $180.00 USD on Buyee..

It's a tagged 42, but with measurements which look to just fit a 'smaller' 44 (taking the lining into consideration):

Nice find.
I just sold a new with tags B-15a spiewak last week. It’s a good solid jacket with a tight weave cloth as Thomas previously stated. The best I could get for it with tags and all was $250.
You did better with the Buzz.

I've seen a few of the Spiewak limited edition B-15A's for sale on eBay... I've been looking for a long time, and have yet to see the B-10 for sale on eBay, etsy, etc. The B-15A LE has an acrylic lining, while the B-10 has genuine alpaca. Also, it's about the only U.S.A.-made B-10 available except for the possibility of JC making one, or perhaps Cockpit's (if they're made in the States, and are FAR from accurate) The Buzz L.S.L. Garment Co.was a good deal, but I still would buy this particular Spiewak if I had the $$ available... It would be worth it to me.. ;)
