Thanks! I'm really pleased with them. You should try it, it was a very enjoyable little project. I think I'll do the same with my A-15 boots I bought from Aero a long time ago, I will never be able to make them look worn as I wear them only once every couple of years (that fleece is too warm!). I may also do the same to the paratrooper boots, also from ATF.

Hey Thomas,

do you have a hard time with the thick seam across the toe cap?
My Iron Rangers were a bi*ch to break in...I would say that for the first 10 times wearing the boots they were giving me blisters. They sometimes do these days if I do not wear them regularly...

Hi Ties,

so far no problems. I also own IRON RANGERS in black and in the "rough out" version with no problems - never had any issues with blisters or so.

Nice looking ones - only thing that bothers me a bit is the somehow almost „female“ shape of the heel - ok it‘s outbalanced by the thickness of the sole (which I really like looks much better than those flimsy ones) but looks special to me anyway
