What jacket(s) are you wearing at the moment?

Hot as the P.I. here in NOVA and definitely not jacket weather, but since I just joined VLJ, here is my collection. Got em both "free", but the thing I am proudest of is that they both still fit 40 years later! My original 1977 Star 7823E and a CWU-45 of unknown vintage that was issued to me in 1982. Thanks for letting me participate.

Guys' ……...The thread is "What jacket (s) are you wearing at the moment?"
Not…….."What jacket (s) are hanging on a hanger at the moment."
We need to see fit pictures with jackets on bodies.
How else can we tell if we want to dump a bundle of cash into another jacket;)

It's midsummer in the upper midwest, so I am rotating my two Willis & Geiger M-421s, and then only if it's windy, rainy or I need lots of pockets. The W&G bush poplin is great goods, tightly woven enough to shrug off light precipitation tho not water treated in any way.

Best part is, I got the 2nd jacket at a very reasonable price due to some minor spotting on the right front. (I'm gonna patch it over with the insignia of VT-6, the Devastator squadron that got all but wiped out at Midway.)

Aren't patch-flap pockets way cooler than plain slit pockets? I think so!

The M-421 is one of my favourite jackets, it's just such a shame that nobody seems to make them at the moment. We need a new repro on the market!

Thanks Lorenzo. Yep, 27752. Ordered it last year and finally received it. It was worth the wait.

I guess so having just read some of the posts this morning, luckily for me it to warm to wear an A2 at the moment so looking at the posts is keeping me off any sites!
The thing is despite the costs, there is definitely something about buying a new jacket that keeps so many of us in this hobby
