I haven't been around in quite some time, but I was wondering if the group had started a Facebook page.

There are I believe several FB groups linked by whatever their taste in jackets is, there's one certainly for original A2 owners, one for Irvin owners I believe and I'm sure more but like Steve, I'm personally not a big FB fan/user and agree I much prefer this forum, I've learnt a lot here, find most members very helpful and above all its very interesting albeit time consuming at times!!

I’m a member of several of them but I seldom contribute-just can’t get into them. I prefer the forum too.

I hate Farcebook with an absolute passion. And after the recent rigmarole of them sharing user data and collecting info on people who aren't even members, I can't even begin to believe why anyone would want to use the thing.

The only thing I like about FB over any forums is the ease of posting pictures. I used to have a Photobucket account, but I haven't used it in quite some time.

I just acquired a really nice patched B-G Inc. in a size 44 I wanted to post pictures of, so I'll have to figure that one out.

Thanks for the replies.

The beauty of Instagram is the fact it can be seen and read by non members without any banners asking the browser to join obscuring the page as happens to non members (like myself, for one) on facebook

The FB jacket groups are fairly low traffic. If you’re into anything really niche you may end up talking to the same people there as here.

There's an A-2 group on there, but no generic flight jacket group that I know of.

I'm with Smithy. Too much virtue signalling there for me. I found I was using it only to brag to others about where I had gone, what I had done, or what I made or owned. I think the rest of the world can do without my contribution.

I really laugh at some of the things people post on FB. What’s up with people posting pictures of their food in restaurants? That’s absolute mindlessness in my opinion. Who cares about what they are going to eat??
You guessed it...I’m not a FB user either.
