Looking for Wright Field arrowhead patch

Since Doolittle’s popularity has made vintage Wright Field arrowhead patches unaffordable for me, I’m looking for an authentic-looking repro. I’ve seen the eBay guy from Serbia (Machbuster100) but wanted to see if there are guys recommended in here. I’d like it to go with (not necessarily on...) my new Werber 1729. I’m interested only in the period-correct paint-on-leather style, not embossed, stitched, etc. Aged is a plus.
Any options here?

Here's a couple of pics for inspiration to make a Wright Field patch. Like the patch, the Dubow it's sewn on hasn't seen much wear. Sorry for the bad lighting, but the USAF Museum keeps their jackets on display under very dim lighting - for good reason I guess.

Which hangar was that in? I was just really bing through there the other day and didn’t see this one. But thanks, that’s exactly what I need for reference.

It was displayed in the hallway next to the WWII gallery. They're doing maintenance work in the WWII gallery, so maybe it's been temporarily put in storage.
More than maintenance work: they’re putting in the entire Memphis Belle exhibit. My buddy is in charge of that. It has the grand opening in just about a month.

Ah cool. I've been thinking of making it to the opening. Are a lot of displays closed off because of it?

Thank goodness it’s not sponsored by Buzz.
- otherwise they may well be red splodges to go with the red knits worn by the mannequins wearing those period and plane correct B10’s.

Indeed, the basic OD is correct. However the 'Green' splodges on the wings and fuselage are incorrect. They should be a darker shade of green.

Wright, are you still looking at this late date? Did you find something suitable?
I've recently started painting the Doolittle patches for my CAF Wing in Camarillo,CA.
The photo on the Hornet deck clearly shows, from the shine, that the General's patch was painted leather. I can't determine the composition of the others' patches.
The WRIGHT is two weeks old, they want it pristine. It's 5" diameter, the 34th is 5 1/4
I painted the 34th thirty years ago and aged it at the time. It's had no real wear to get it wrinkled and stained, that was my doing.
If you're interested, and/or you want a different color scheme or size, I might be your huckleberry.

Thanks, but I had a patch made by another member here a few years back. It looks great and has definitely been a conversation-starter. I’ve been asked by others about getting one so maybe next time I’ll point them your way. And maybe I’ll need another in the future!
Incidentally, yes, Jimmy’s was painted on but I’ve seen variations of the Wright Field patch that have been cloth or layers of leather, so you could do whatever version and still be historically accurate. Most I’ve seen have been painted, which is what I went with.
