Some Eastman Photos

Yes that is an early Eastman ad, from I think the early 90's! It was a separate insert into an ELC folder that contained similar for other jacket styles and came with a nice swatch of sample leathers, knits and lining materials - I've still got a set from back in the day!!

I remember these folders - I had one back in ´91 when I was an exchange student in the US. Unfortunately I didn't buy from them but got a mall A-2 ...

I still have mine, with all the inserts and samples. Had to contact a Norwegian company to get the folder. I was studying in the US at the time (early 90's) but didn't buy my first Eastman until 2001. This one I sold a few years back after loosing weight, but have bought another four jackets from Eastman since.

I also had some leather samples - it´s really a shame that I threw it all away. Didn't know better back then.

m444uk, that ELC Perry B3 is freaking beautiful!
It's been a while, but I don't recall any B-6 jackets. They had a size 38 and 44 Perry type B-3, the latter I bought at half price in their January sale. The A1 jackets they had weren't reduced that much and a little bit disappointing in terms of patina. They told me they were discontinuing Eastman stuff ? Fashion outlets like YMC seem to change gear on a regular basis.
hi there do those January sales still exist and if so could u please inform me of nearest store closest to me I'm in London thanks

Just found this in an old copy of the ELC golden book.

I had the leather samples and that earlier brochure too.

However what does seem to have escaped me over the passage of time is on that list is listed a 18775-P. Did Eastman repro the Aero contract or is this a typo?

They did until Aero Scotland pointed out the trademark ownership....
