A sponge and a reddish-brown aniline dye would make an interesting jacket.

I wouldn't say no to an ELC SFAD though but the new price is insane...

They say the B-3 was based on the Irvin, and you can see it in that first version, sleeve zips, single collar strap, no pocket, no leather facings. Actually IMHO the untreated B-3’s only look good when they’re grubby, they look daft when they’re pristine. I agree though, they’re not for everyone, including me, although I do have a thing for the B-7. There was one in the Real McCoy’s shop in Covent Garden when I was last there, didn’t dare ask the price.

I've never seen anyone wearing a normal Eastman B-3 here in England but I've seen 2 different females wearing white ones in the Soho film district.

I wore my ELC .50 cal B3 in last two weeks in both London and Coventry.

Well that dude is getting away with it, I think for me personally, something more discreet, as if a big thick sheep skin jacket could ever be thst

He's probably daydreaming about brewing craft beer or whittling wood or whatever hipsters think about.

Sounds better than the stupid crap politicians and CEOs spend their time thinking about. I think the light version looks pretty outstanding on the Christian Bale model.

Terrible picture, but you can just make out this is an early white skin suit with under-arm gussets, narrow belts and no arm facings. Must of been the most comfortable B-3 spec.
