Good point about the lack of the property of label. I'd also point out that those pocket flaps look much more like a 16159 (RW's first contract). My bet would be one of the Japanese makers.

Does the zipper on this look like a NOS or a repro Talon? Thats what I was basing my opinion on, thinking that it looked like the real thing.and was probably one of JCs. However , you guys are spot on about the “property of” label . So I guess it could be BK. It just looks a little too good for a 5 STAR. No offense to 5 Star.
As far as the body and arm length, it was probably custom made for a lean tall guy with long arms … alla Jimmy Stewart .,

Burt, here an other picture of the other side of the talon zipper.
Shoulder to shoulder is 51 cm
Armpit is 57 cm
Sleeves are 65cm
Lenght is 62 cm

I could be wrong, but, as I remember,, that rw contract was made with crown zippers. the talon in the pic appears to be a good repro.
