I’m hoping to discover the maker and history of this jacket. The sewn-in tag (attached) reads:

Aviation Air Force Jacket
U.S. Army Style
Made in England

I’m don’t know of any military jacket Tyie E-16.
I believe this is a commercially made fleece flight jacket. I just sold one that looks like the clone of this one .

Yeah, there wasn't one. It's a commercially-made jacket, probably from the '70s or later.

As an addendum... it's made of genuine sheepskin shearling, and is very well-made compared to most commercial bombers I've handled.
