Pricey or what! Chapal jackets

Looking very nicely made as they should be for the price, Chapal (France) in their time claim to have made USAAF jackets and as you can see, claim to have invented the waterproof coating for shearlings! The A1 looks really nice in suede (also comes in blue leather) but can’t imagine they sell many!!

We've had a few discussions about Chapal. To be fair to them, they are a designer label and the people wearing their jackets wouldn't know the arse end of a Spitfire from the front end of a bus. The people wearing them will be swanning around the Riviera or St Moritz and not Duxford, Wanaka or Oshkosh!
