Incised leather patch with B-25 and ETO map

Hi,

here is something I have done a while back:

As you can see, there was a problem with the blue paint which did not properly adhere to the leather...my mistake as I forgot to clean it with a wipe of acetone before the paint job. Anyway, I decided to give it a rough treatment of duct tape and Tandy's Antique Gel.

No mistake.....perfectly accurate.....looks perfect.....You meant to do that..... :)

I have just found a photo of the copy I had made for Marcel a while back:

The original B-17 patch was the one from the top of this thread...very folksy, so that was why I tried the B-25 with a little more attention to scale.
