Below the stuck on label is an area that looks to have been covered over at some time. There is a' tide mark' like a rotated L.

Not Eagle Sqn...too late in war, more likely an RAF pilot who trained in Florida as so many were, same as the Commonwealth training plan where they trained to fly in Canada.

Looking at the darker finish of the skin and the close pile "soft" fleece this one is probably early, late 30s. I owned a similar one by IAC which had a pre-war date label. There were four panel pre-war jackets made although the two panel design is more common.
