486th FS patch

    I think thats a goodie! Would work well with a B-10, being softer material also.

    Looks very good Cedric. Just be aware that a lot of guys from the 486th wore the patch for the 21st Pursuit Sqn which is the unit that the 486th grew out of. Case in point, Ted Fahrenwald.

    Tim, indeed I saw lots of pictures of 486th guys with the 21st patch, but none with the 486th one.

    Does any of you have a picture of said patch worn on a jacket?

    The only things I have relating to the 486th are both of Ted's books so I'll have a look. The 352nd FG has a website so you could contact them as they should have the largest collection of images relating to the 486th. You could also trawl through the images relating to the sqn at the Americanairmuseum.com website.
