Found this L-2B on a fleemarket in Burlington NC.
No BR tag in the pocket, some fading green on the shell. Silky liner...
Original or other repro?
Very comfy and good to wear.

It looks exactly like my BR. Well, that is to be expected, isn't it?

My Buzz doesn't have DOT stamped.
On your jacket the thread of the stitching seems pretty light, almost witish in colour compared with the colour of the shell, whereas that on mine is rather identical of colour.
Your tag says -3976, mine (a Large) says -3975. That seems to be size related, as a medium says -3974. Apart from that, the tags are identical.
My guess at this moment would be a BR, but someone here who owns an original would hopefully be able to compare.

I also think that yours does look very new, an original would be like what, 50 years old by now?

This is a great all round jacket, I wear mine all the time from spring into autumn.

Thx a lot..The scans are much lighter than the reality. The stitchings are more beige than on the photos.
The DOT fastener are rising my questioning.

I'm no expert on nylon jackets but for an original those wrist/sleeve knits look too good and tight! Great find whatever, assuming you got it for a reasonable price!

Thx, I am with you...agree, but have not found any trace of mentioning its a BR or other repro.
Had a few BR and RMCJ L-2B’s, but they were different and the fasteners were not marked like these. Also, the neck label is a much “ finer” print than all repros I have seen.
The seller wanted 30,-US$, gave him more since he looked he could need it.

Did not see it at the first glance, but the paper bag has som inscription..”H Garner “ and a date... I guess.
Stiching is beige greenish... Decal a bit faded...Knits very thin, not as the usual repros...knits have very minor moth bites...
Happy to have it... very nice and comfy to wear..

The boy done good! Here in London we've got so many 'vintage' clothes shops you could spend a few days trying them all and find nothing but I live in hope I might get lucky with something no one else has spotted or realises it true value.

It's a BR definitly, the lining color and the DOT pressure are the signs. Dot pressures can be bought at MASH japan.
