This grouping was apparently left to a person
Came out of a locker that was not touched since 1944
Are these items authentic ?
They seem too good

Holy crap ! Everything looks brand new. It all looks authentic to me. I'm no expert but the A-2 label looks good. Pity you had no other closeups. Is it someone you know that has these ?

Wow! I wonder what the story is behind this kit? I can see nothing to indicate that any of this flight kit is not what it seems.

Truly amazing. The grouping does look to be authentic.

The A2 jacket is virtually untouched since the day it was made. Love to see some close-up photo's of it.

Great Scott! I can see what looks like flaking on the B-6, and some dirt/mould on the garrison cap, but Hell, it's been in a trunk for 72 years. A-2 looks pristine-I wonder what the blacked out letters on the label signify, if anything? Hope they keep it all together and don't sell it off piecemeal.

jaw dropping!

once in a while stories of buried chest filled with ORIGINAL ww2 german uniforms pop up but most of them are hoax - if you guys think the grouping is real thenit is a stunning find and should be displayed in a museum

Probably time for a little detective work from our knowledgable residents here?

Are all the items compatible? If so why is there nothing more ordinary/civilian? It all tells part of the story.

There seems to be enough to go on.

I'm not being cynical here I'm genuinely interested in any outcome.

The person that now owns the items was friends with the vet and was left the entire collection which had been stored away in a trunk since WW2
This is the story he told me . I do not know the person except thru Facebook , so cannot verify the story further. The bomb pin tags actually have the targets names on them that the Vet recorded post bomb run. He has no plans to sell as he is a collector himself .
