Hey fellas...

It's been quite a while since I've posted on VLJ... and wanted you guys to know that Sean (a2jacketpatches) has started a new Facebook page called "Reproduction A-2 Flight Jacket Patches". It's open to all who wanted to talk about and see patches made by fellow artist and enthusiast alike. The Facebook page that Sean started... became operational on the 15th... Check it out...
You can also check out the website that Sean and I share as business partners... www.jbmilart.com

Thanks guys!

Is Sean's FB page public? I can't open it but I don't have a FB account. Used to have an FB account but never used it and hated getting the alerts (no matter how much editing to not get them I did). Also, hate that they troll for your content for advertising!

It's a public group. A lot of the 'usual suspects' on board now. Great to see Mark active too... Some great art and patches popping up. Whetting the appetite so much that I had to bust out my 82nd Airborne B10...

The ads are a pain; however, I did find a local concrete edging guy and a kitchen mob?

As far as getting rid of "Ads" on the websites... I use "AdBlock Plus" or ABP for months now. I get the add on download for free with Firefox... gets rid of about 98% of all the adds, except maybe a few adds pertaining to what I'm searching for... and that's only two or three adds at the most! I'm pretty happy with the ABP system so far... check out the reviews on the Internet... or if you're like me, and use Firefox... go to the add on section and look for ADBlock Plus... and download it... and try it out...

What unit patches are you looking for , I make all types of WW2 USN/USMC flying units..........................

I don't know to be honest. Just wondering about possibly getting a couple to consider for a jacket I recently acquired.
Most likely won't do it but it is an early 60's model.

ButteMT61, well if you do decide you'd like something done, I've also done latter era unit patches, I usually work in the 5-6 inch range ............
