This is the label, showing the maker, date, size and inspection stamp. This was made in Showa 18 = 1943, and is large (III or 3) in size. The blank boxes are for the soldier / owner to put his information.

The view of the cinch waste band and the electric cord. This cord goes to a flap on the inside , above the front left breast. It is for powering up your heated goggles. Which ever station you are at , pilot, gunner, ect. has an outlet to plug into.

Greetings, this is my first post. I have a jacket here that is a bit odd. This is a L-2b but has been pointed out that it does not have the oxygen reinforcement tab., and it was never installed. The sage green liner is correct, the outer shell may be an odd color, in is not the silver / green...
