My Monarch is well broken in. Haven’t noticed any difference in that regard.

Absolutely none mate. There’s no petroleum products in it whatsoever which is nice. An improvement on the Pecards that I’ve used the past few years.

I agree mate, the Havana shade of russet can be a bit dull. Mine now looks a bit more like the RW1401 colour.

Inside of pocket flap is not coated

I coated every part open to the elements including the seams and stitching. The difference in shade is minor but noticeable. I’ll add a pic of the inside pocket flap for comparison in a sec. I can’t tell any difference in the colour of the stitching.

Has anyone else tried this product from ELC? I just got a tub and gave my Monarch 352nd a good coat and it has come up beautifully. Now glowing and a slightly darker russet shade which I was after. Not oily and no scent. Best leather treatment I’ve seen to date. Not cheap though...

Just received mine. An absolute must have for any A2 or WW2 enthusiast. Superb quality. The website in a book plus more.
