    Original B3 restoration help/suggestions

Rotten sheepskin is rotten sheepskin. So you have some options: a) bronze it like a baby shoe b) cover or overlay the entire jacket in HH like that one guy did over on FL c) resell it to some poor guy who only wants to ever look at it . . . forever or d) be happy that, despite the terminal...

    Type C-2

Willis & Geiger made a decent version in wool. They called it a "C-2 Glider Pilot Sweater." They also did the Mechanics sweater (just add your own Talon zip). Also Ralph Lauren makes a nice copy but in a linen/cotton blend  Plus the usual suspects -- What Price Glory for some nice...

    Off Season A-2 Storage

Eastman has, in fact, thought about this very issue and is willing to provide their own over-ripe huckleberry for the low, low storage price of . . . . . 70 quid

    bogus cbi a-2

I get that it may be bogus or not . . but doesn't Goodwear make a United? Is anyone saying the jacket isn't vintage? I mean either way -- a pristine original or a pristine copy . . and without provenance isn't it a great deal for a pristine original and a pretty good deal for a Good wear repro...

    Belstaff returns to England

This comment following the article provides a delicious counterpoint to the triumphal return: ''This autumn, the company that manufactured the world's first waxed cotton jackets' Er no. As is pointed out later in this atrociously written and abysmally ill informed piece the company was founded...

I call bull crap on ebay...

Seems like a member here shipped a jacket to someone but then got a TOWEL back as a return . . .so the buyer got the jacket and a refund while the seller lost BOTH . . . and no ability to leave neg fb. I'm really surpised that there's not more fraud in this regard -- seems like a huge loophole...

    Help identifying boots please

http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums/showthread.php?81050-WWII-uniforms-equipment-and-gear They look POLISH to me based on the photos in the thread above. The rivets mid foot seem to be the chief ID'er plus you can almost make out the metal toe rand.
