Bronson M-421A, upgraded with an M-42 Talon zip and zipper stops from MASH and a VF-3 patch from ELC. Also wearing a newly aquired wool USN cap from ELC.
Just wanted to thank you all again for your input. The ELC A-3 cap arrived today (size 7 1/8). The cap just needs a touch more work shaping it, but it fits beautifully right out of the box.
The size 7 USN cap that I ordered from a vendor here in the states was much smaller than ELC's size chart...
Some Bulova's had railroad track dials. Elgin and Waltham do not. Does the case look nickel plated like your Waltham or is it sterling?

I think it's probably the best product that I've purchased from Bronson to date. So much so, that I decided to keep both sizes that I purchased. I've installed an M-39 zip on one and an M-42 on the other. One will be patched with a VF-3 patch from ELC.
Agreed Jay. It's the perfect piece for those times that it's just too warm for an A-2. Which is a lot of days in the southern parts of the U.S.

Size 40 Bronson M-421A arrived late last week. I gave it a very slight shrink by washing it on the colors setting temp (around 85° F IIRC) and drying on medium heat. The zipper pull is on the correct side on this jacket, unlike the size 38. Wore the jacket out for the first time today and...
