63 degrees in NJ, today. So, wearing my Good Wear 1941 Werber Contract # 42-1402-P, their last contract, in contrast to Burt's 1933 Werber, their first contract.

They're predicting 5-8" between tonight and tomorrow. Pretty much the whole city closed down early this evening, which is NOT usual in Michigan.

Hey Jan,

here is something that has never happened before in Hamburg:

Yesterdays storm brought really high wind and waves to the city's harbor...one of the waves crushed the front window of a small harbor ferry...

EDIT: By the way, we are not talking about a normal sea harbor here...Hamburg is at the river Elbe, the North Sea is roughly 100 kms further away..

I would want to work for an aircraft cleaning company on days like today :D

I had one comparable day some years ago and was responsible ramp agent for several incoming flights during a phase of really heavy gusts and strong winds... All flights (that is the ones that made it down in Vienna and did not divert to somewhere else) required special and/or extended cleaning...the gals and guys working for the cleaning company looked like zombies two hours later...
