I have a feeling it will sell for more than it’s worth. Especially with the “unbroken” story associated with it. Sadly I have no funds for it. :(:(:(

I can remember back in the day Platon and the gang tooting their horns mightily about the Victory HH and charging an arm and a leg for it. Looking at those photos you really do have to say that it is a bloody fantastic looking leather. 430 bucks with over 5 and a half days to go, it'll be interesting to see what this goes for. The Unbroken connection won't hurt either.

Yep. My guess will be $1500 at least.

I hope it goes to someone who will wear the dang thing.

That is a perfect jacket to my eye. Can’t see how that could be improved on by any maker.

Not sure I ever saw a better looking repro.

Just wait till it get some wear and you'll be wondering if its an original. and I can vouch having had some 'victory' experience that won't take long

Tim, they only started charging more than an arm and leg when the Liberty became their mainstay, I dropped out then so I guess Victory became their premium leather of choice, the one you want to drive in with the accessory of your choice, lets say your Lambo Muira s4 in Twiggy acid lime with the yellow stripe down the middle to Monte Carlo. Seriously, 5 or so years ago I purchased 2 jackets for under 700 each, and the AN-J-3 I commissioned of them cost 840 all in Victory and thats what they cost in USD, now its $1400. Considering the type of leather it is, its no wonder the cost of it became astronomical, the stuff is sensational compared to what you can get now. I know I sound like I'm on their marketing team, but if Victory came back and was the same price of Liberty, I say its worth every cent, especially if like most of us here, you want the leather to be supple, tough, and have that 50 cal look after you first wear it. These jackets in my opinion are keepers. Obviously at the prices now you'd only have one or two. Its only down side was it was heavy, My ANJ weighs a tonne, but you don't notice it when its on.

I think because of its association with the movie based off the book “unbroken”. Even if it was not used on set. We will see if I am wrong though.

I keep going back to the listing just to have a look at the pics of that leather, it's stunning stuff.

I know. Me too. It would fit me a little on the large side but it’s too rich for me at the moment. I am looking at my ELC and then I see this listing again. Wow. I love my ELC, but it’s night and day difference here. I can say that BK did make the most accurate repro with this particular jacket. That said, I think ELC makes a pretty accurate repro too as I have seen some pics of originals that compare with the grain on my monarch.

Like most of the current top makers, GW, ELC, DD, AERO LEATHER, BK sourced originals, took em apart and made patterns of them. I know a few members here a good while ago sent them some of there originals in which they made patterns off. So yeah I think they make period accurate stuff, but also allow you choice of leather, colour knit, lining etc, which is a good option for them and those who want the period correct cut but a different hide or knit etc.

So the measurements of the sleeve length and back length are both the same. Isn’t that sort of weird?
