Not I but he was here soon after he opened up shop. Sorta implied he was the best, but for all I know, he may be. Seemed nice enough. I'd shoot him an email.

Not seen anything from Diamond Cap for a while now, as many know he used to supply Eastman with Flighter's but they didn't come come cheap but we're pretty much the best from what I've seen plus his Luftwaffe caps were something else.

If you own one in my size I would be interested!

Could we continue our conversation via personal message?

Thomas, I can vouch for Society Brand. Peter made me a summer khaki 'Bancroft Flighter' in worsted wool. The quality is as good as it can get, and he is a terrific guy to deal with. If you want an original cap badge, get one from eBay and send it to him so the hole in the cap will be in exactly the right place. Some guys prefer the larger Eagle.

Does anyone have any experience with cheaper makers, such a sofmilitary or uswings? I definitely cannot afford spending hundreds on one. Or, are the cheaper models of too low quality, therefore not even worth the lower price?

Sure...Guess an original is always worth saving...plus its an investment and not a waste...

This is my new Society Brand 'Bancroft' Flighter that was delivered a couple of hours ago. I added an original Eagle that will be polished!
